The short version

You can delete your VIP Speech account and its data at any time, right inside the app — or delete just some of your data (like individual recordings) without closing your account. If you can't access the app, you can ask us by email. Account deletion is permanent.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Delete a recording: in the app, open My Recordings, choose a recording, and delete it. This removes it from your device, and — if it was shared or reviewed — from our systems, keeping only the feedback it earned.
Stop sharing a clip: in Social → My Shared Clips, tap Stop sharing. The video is removed from our video host immediately; the hearts and cheers it earned stay in your private history.
Anything else: email support@vipspeech.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and tell us what you'd like removed (for example, your AI review history). We'll verify it's you and respond within the time required by applicable law (and within 30 days at the latest).

Delete it yourself in the app

Open VIP Speech and go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed.

Or ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email us from the address on your account at support@vipspeech.com with the subject "Account deletion request." We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion, and respond within the time required by applicable law (and within 30 days at the latest).

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our systems, including:

Your account and profile (name, email, avatar, and login).
Your learning progress, streaks, and in-app activity.
Any recordings you uploaded for an AI review or to share, along with their AI feedback.
Social content tied to your account, such as shared posts and friend connections.

What may be kept, and for how long

Recordings always stay on your own device until you delete them there or uninstall the app — those are never uploaded unless you ask for an AI review or share them. Any recording you shared is stored privately on our video host (Cloudflare R2) for up to 90 days, or until you stop sharing or replace it in the app, whichever comes first — and is removed immediately when you delete your account. We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to (for example, records needed to meet tax or accounting obligations), and we delete or anonymize the rest.
